Butt Glazing
Glass-to-glass joint with structural silicone, no vertical mullion.
Backlog
Approved work not yet started. A leading indicator of near-term revenue.

Curtain Wall
Non-load-bearing exterior building envelope, typically aluminum + glass, spanning multiple floors.

IGU
Insulated Glass Unit — two or more panes with a sealed air/argon gap for thermal performance.
IG Spacer
The perimeter component that separates the panes of an IGU. Warm-edge spacers reduce condensation.
L
Laminated Glass
Two panes bonded with a PVB or SGP interlayer. Holds together when broken.
Low-E
Low-emissivity coating that reflects infrared while passing visible light. Improves U-value.

Net 30
Payment due 30 days from invoice date.

SGP
SentryGlas Plus interlayer — stronger and stiffer than PVB, used in structural laminates.

Tempered Glass
Heat-treated safety glass ~4× stronger than annealed. Breaks into small granular pieces.

Rate of heat transfer through a window. Lower is better for insulation.
